Support Services
Along with the specific professions above, we have a number of other roles that form part of the wider healthcare team. Whatever your skills and interests, there is an NHS role for you. This could be a healthcare support worker, porter or domestic, electrician or plumber.
We are one team, we work together to deliver the best possible services for our patients, staff and community.
Healthcare Support Workers
There are so many areas and services where our healthcare support workers work alongside our multidisciplinary teams. You could be working on wards, in maternity, or out with our primary care and community services, or you could be working as a with our therapies teams.
No two days are the same, you will support our patients through their treatment, making a real difference to their experience and wellbeing.
Estates and Facilities
Estates and facilities colleagues are critical to the day to day running of our hospitals and sites, keeping them clean, safe, hygienic, and functioning. That could be working as a domestic and playing a key role in infection control, or transporting patients as a porter, to carrying out repairs and maintenance as an electrician, plumber or decorator.
You’ll work across every area and service within CTM – each day is different.
